When split, King Split mattresses form two Long Single beds (91.5 cm x 203 cm), which are slightly larger than standard Single beds (91 cm x 188 cm).
Vendella’s new range of split and zipped bedding makes changing room configuration easy! With the King split mattress protector and duvet inner, converting a King bed into two long singles is straightforward. This versatile solution saves both time and storage space—just split the bed and bedding without needing additional items from storage. For top of bed, single fitted or double non-fitted options are suitable.
Should you be using existing bedding, we suggest a single or king single protector and topper and long single fitted items such as valances and fitted sheets
Each Makers Split and Zipped mattress can be conveniently joined with a built-in zipper, allowing flexibility to configure it as a single large bed or two separate singles.
Base Options for Split Beds
Vendella’s Makers Commercial Bed Base supports the Makers Midnight range and is delivered in a kit set for quick, cost-effective shipping. Assembly is simple, with four brackets, a center rail, and wooden slats. Optional glides or castors allow for height customization, while joining plates secure the bases when paired. For separate beds, simply replace the plates with glides or castors.
