I like that we are passionate about continual growth. We’re never just satisfied with what we did last week, month or year. We want to improve everything we do. Everyone gets an opportunity to put forward an idea and act on it.

I spend my time working to grow the business, looking for new opportunities, trends and innovations. Every day is a deadline for our customers and we’re here to help them with our products and services, so it is important we are the best we can be.

I’m inspired to make a difference in the lives of our clients and those around us, helping people within their roles and lives. We had a client yesterday say, ‘boy you guys make my life so easy” and I was so spurred by that.

I cut hair – that’s my second job. I’m a barber and practice on a couple of the guys here. I’ve got a little boy who’s 6 years old, he’s my occupation outside of work. My other commitments are my family and community activities.

I love working for Vendella because we are like one big family and you feel like you can be yourself. Sometimes I’m under pressure but I really love my day being filled with lots of challenges. I want to do everything I can to make the company better.

I focus on innovations and product development. So, watch out I’m going to bring a lot more stuff to the company!

Having recently done a renovation, we are busy putting the house back together and making it our dream space. Otherwise my time is spent being a taxi to my 10 year old daughter, spending sunny days at the beach and trying to get back into a fitness routine!

I am the Operations Team Lead, so I ensure all operations run smoothly for customer satisfaction. I love having the satisfaction that we got it right, and knowing the customer is happy and smiling because of our service.

When I get out of bed in the morning, I am thankful for being able to have another day, and really enjoy that first cup of coffee.

I am quite a quiet person outside of work, and I often spend time by myself painting or planting indoor plants. I am very much a planner, so if there is a goal, I am already planning how to get there.

I am the Finance Manager so it is my job to ensure we have accurate data and reporting. I may not be directly involved in interactions with customers but as a Finance Manager, ensuring accurate data and reporting directly contributes to customer satisfaction and the overall success of the organisation.

What inspires me to get out of bed in the morning? Normally my alarm or my dog wanting her breakfast. Outside of work, I enjoy spending my time with my family and my dog!

I love working at Vendella because of the team! Everyone is so friendly and helpful no matter if it’s with work or personal life. It feels like family already!

Here at Vendella I am the bubbly person on the end of the phone helping with any inquires and placing orders.

What gets me out of bed in the morning? I would say getting to come to work with a lovely bunch of people who all share one goal.

I love spending time with my young nieces and nephew, playing sports and going on adventures with friends.

I love the warm welcome from Vendella and meeting everyone. Everyone in the team is awesome and really very helpful. It is like a family with a very strong support system and they make me feel I belong.

In my position I assist in processing orders on-time, updating account details and providing support to the Sales Team.

In my spare time I like to go on road trips on my motorbike and I love to read. I love playing with kids and be a kid myself.

Hobbies would have to be cooking – especially for my friends and family, and I love getting outdoors.

Being the Social Media Manager and Marketing Coordinator means I cover all things online. I ensure the website is always up to date so our customers know exactly what they can purchase. I create communications for our social media platforms, so that our customers can interact with us, and always know about the awesome things we’re doing.

What gets me out of bed in the morning? Coffee!

I am creative in many ways, outside of work I love to paint, play several different instruments, and sing!

I love working with the team here at Vendella! I commute most days from Oamaru so its awesome to turn up, to work with a passionate, hardworking but fun-loving team.


At Vendella I work with the marketing team creating content and designing collateral. I aim to showcase the benefits of dealing with Vendella, the awesome products we have in stock and inspiring customers to give their guests the ‘best rest’.


In my previous job I was a travelling salesperson, so here at Vendella I am excited to come each day, to learn new design skills, let my creative side run a bit wild, and create some epic content!


Outside of work I love travelling with my wife, finding hidden gems off the beaten track and giving other people FOMO! I enjoy food – not only eating it and trying new things but I love hosting small dinner parties with friends and family.

My role as a purchasing assistant allows me to source and order our quality products for each of our customers to enjoy.

I am inspired to get out of the bed as each day comes with new challenges and is totally different to the day before, allowing me to upskill and grow.

Outside of work I am either focusing on playing or recording music, or fishing our great rivers here in the South Island!

Here at Vendella I help Kathy with the purchasing of stock, ensuring we can supply our customers with a range of great quality products at an affordable price.

Outside of work I enjoy cooking and spending time in the sun, along with a spot of online shopping. Going to see my family in the Manawatu and visiting the unseen sights of NZ, is where I spend my holidays.

What I like about Vendella is the customer service commitment and quality product offerings, “You look after the guest, let us take care of the rest” really says it all! The Vendella team has a great company culture to work with!


My role is to assist clients in finding product solutions to their Hotel Guest requirements and provide awareness on sustainable product options. With products that are second to none I love seeing customers take their Guest comfort to new heights!


What inspires me to get out of bed every day, is understanding that it is not just another day, but a new opportunity to hit goals and support my family.


When not at Vendella, you’ll find me getting stuck into a home project or getting out and about seeing the Australian countryside with my wife & kids.

What I love about Vendella is that I’m part of a winning team. At Vendella we have a strong work ethic of winning, which is not always about ‘coming 1st‘ but better defined as striving to get ahead.

I love working alongside a bunch of great people who are truly passionate about getting ahead at work and at home which is very infectious!

My role at Vendella has 2 parts; Firstly; To make sure each part of the company is moving in sync so everyone can do their bit to help the customer without anything slowing them down.

Secondly; The other side to my role is strategy. I spend a good part of my day planning 6 months, 1 year, 3 years ahead, trying to understand how global trends will affect our industry and how we can best answer your needs today, tomorrow and beyond.

What inspires me to get out of bed every morning? If it’s the weekend, it’s my wife & three energetic daughters but on week mornings it’s seeing the company progress and our team getting ahead which ignites my fire because my motto is ‘What am I going to do today to make the company better than it was yesterday”

Other than that, I am a pretty calm type, I’m a fan of a classic bbq and have a soft spot for getting out amongst nature.

What I like most about working for Vendella is the opportunities it provides me. Mostly in the space of helping people and improving people’s lives.

What gets me out of bed? Seeing the team develop and (with my owner hat on) knowing I have the ability to help them with their learnings, goals and aspirations. And that I can help support them with their schemes and dreams outside of work too. ‘Creating winners” is a catchphrase I use! 😊

I work in sales, helping our clients. What I enjoy most about that are the face to face meetings, getting in touch with the clients themselves at their properties, or through phone calls understanding their needs and providing the best solution for them. What you don’t know about me….my spilt personality! During my work week I need as much social company as I can get and on the weekend I get as far away from civilisation as possible with my wife and two daughters.

Having worked in a family business for the past decade, it’s important for me to be surrounded by people who share a common goal. The team at Vendella hold many of the same values and ethics that I hold dear; it’s fantastic to spend each day as a part of their team.


A rugby tragic, I can still be found on occasion thundering around the pitches of South-East Queensland. In the capacity of either Prop, Coach or Referee, I’m usually being far louder than most people would want me to be. Off the field, I love an adventure with my fiancée and kids; even more so if there are donuts involved.

Working with a great team, seeing the business grow and looking after the people that work here is what I enjoy about working at Vendella. One of the things I really get enjoyment out of is innovating new products. We are expanding our furniture range quite extensively so that’s another cool thing about working here.

From day to day I look after foreign exchange, local and overseas payments. I work with the innovations team to come up with new products that meet the needs of the market.

I’m inspired to get out of bed for 2 reasons. 1. it’s not really a cool place to stay any longer than you need to. and 2. to get to work and get stuck in with the team.
