BACKGROUND

Dolphin Motel is a 33-room luxury, apartment-style Motel located right in the centre of town and an easy walk to all amenities, cafes’, restaurants, and the humming wharf, the gateway to the harbour and the hub of Paihia activities, be it adventure, fishing, sailing, or airbourne. Refurbished in late 2019, the two-story Motel offers clean and comfortable accommodation, along with a range of rooms, catering to business professionals, leisure travelers, or those wanting to explore the activities in the area.

THE PROJECT

The Dolphin Motel in late 2019 added 19 new rooms to the property. They contacted Vendella as they have loved our service over the years, knew our product range, and wanted to continue the same high-quality from the existing rooms into the new development. To make it easy for the onsite manager to show the business owners the value of the product to be supplied, Vendella prepared and sent samples prior to them making their final order. With the owners being offshore, this process of supplying samples enabled the manager to mockup a room, take photos, and show the owners how the rooms would look before making their final decision. We were able to deliver the goods on-time and in full, in a timely manner for the opening of their new rooms.

PROBLEMS WE SOLVED / REASONS FOR PARTNERING WITH VENDELLA

We made it really easy for the Dolphin Motel when it came to making product decisions. By providing product samples, and the ability to see how the rooms would look to aide in making purchasing decisions. We were easy to contact in regards to discussing their challenges, and we worked closely with them to make sure all of the product was delivered to their project schedule. Ensuring that the new rooms were all ready of the opening date.
